About The Author
Jon D Johnson is married with three children and has been living in
South Florida for the past twenty years. He was born in Chicago
Illinois and raised in St. Louis Missouri by a single mom with an
older brother and two sisters. He has been writing short stories
since he was promoted pass the forth grade to the fifth, and had to
adjust to a whole new group of classmates that didn’t think he
belonged. The stories he wrote, were about some of the things that
experienced during that time, but he would change the endings to
an outcome that was more favorable to him.
Although Jon was raised in the inner city of St. Louis he was educated in
private schools until his second year of high school. This enabled him to have
interact with children from wide variety of backgrounds. He would always have
neighborhood friends who were polar opposite from his friends at school.
In his adult life Jon continued to have experiences with a wide variety of
individuals; spending time at homeless shelters to delivery a speech to the
Board of Directors of a major public Company. This experience with such a
variety of personalities is what enables his writing to connect with all readers.
